Colleen Hahn - President & CEO

Colleen Hahn is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Gryphon Media Strategies. Hahn’s marketing and communications expertise extends from the energy, defense and technology sectors to the entertainment and media industries for both business-to-business and business-to-consumer companies. From strategic plan engagements and business growth strategies to tactical communications programs, Hahn and the team at Gryphon work with executive management, boards and leadership teams to conceptualize strategy, develop short and long range goals and implement those carefully evaluated programs to ensure results. The firm focuses on market data analysis and research to help clients develop comprehensive plans and campaigns that strengthen, advance and evolve company brands.

Prior to the launch of Gryphon, Hahn spent 2 ½ years with OceanGate Inc., a global provider of manned submersible solutions for commercial, research and military applications. As Chief Marketing Officer, Hahn was responsible for the company's global marketing and corporate communications programs, investor and analyst relations, and sales and market development. Hahn’s strategic initiatives included positioning OceanGate's growth strategy and cultivating opportunities in new and existing markets worldwide. Hahn was responsible for the development of strategic partnerships in specific industry verticals to establish and fast track the company’s products and solutions into sales cycles. Hahn also managed OceanGate’s documentary, feature film and digital media efforts to broaden the company’s message to private and public stakeholders.

Over the past 25 years, Hahn’s strategic insight and innovative programming have helped to build and sustain strong corporate and brand reputations. She has worked closely with executive management teams and CEO’s on strategic plans to guide business profitability and growth. Hahn’s expertise in establishing new and emerging technology spans the defense, commercial and entertainment industries. Throughout her career, Hahn has worked with leading companies including AOL, the American Red Cross, Google, HP, General Dynamics, Microsoft, Johnson & Johnson, CBS and Universal Television.

She has won several marketing, film and media awards, and written extensively on business-to-business marketing.

Hahn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a concentration in Marine Science, and completed postgraduate work at Fairfield University's Graduate School of Communications, now Fairfield University's Charles F. Dolan School of Business

She resides in Middleburg, Virginia

Amanda Hobbs - Social Media Manager

Amanda is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a B.A. in History and she is incredibly excited to be joining the Gryphon team as its Social Media Manager. She will be managing the company's social media pages and working to increase the company's social media presence. Amanda is new to the social media environment and is eager to hone her skills and learn more about the company and the industry.

In addition to her social media work, Amanda is a creative person. She is currently pursuing her MFA in screenwriting and film studies at Hollins University hopes to do big things in film industry one day.

 
 

Virginia Guldi - Subject Matter Expert

For the past 25 years Virginia Guldi has been employed as a commercial and corporate lawyer by Zuckerman Spaeder, LLP, a boutique law firm in Washington, D.C.  In her practice, Mrs. Guldi advised small and midsize companies on a variety of matters such as bankruptcy, commercial transactions, employment issues and real estate issues. In addition, Mrs. Guldi has written extensively for the Zuckerman Spaeder blog, Suits by Suits, which was named as an ABA Blawg 100 honoree in 2016. 

Mrs. Guldi holds degrees from the University of Pennsylvania in Chemical Engineering and Finance (Wharton School of Business). In addition, Mrs. Guldi graduated from Widener University Delaware Law School and clerked for the Chief Justice of the Delaware Supreme Court.
